Local Naval Base Ventura County is hosting "Seabee Days" in Port Hueneme to honor the men and women of the Naval Construction Force.

Street Fair – July 4, 2007

Oxnard Salsa Festival July 28-29, 2007

Visit downtown Oxnard for spicy food from a variety of food vendors, salsa dancing, live music entertainment, shopping, and family fun. It’s the summer’s hottest festival!

42nd Annual Parade of Lights – Dec 8, 2007

Join in on the festivities as spectators can watch from several points on the waters edge as lighted boats parade throughout the harbor.

C.H. Carnegie Art Museum

An Oxnard landmark, this museum once served as a community library. It now showcases a vast array of media from photography, prints, paintings, and drawings from international and local Californian artists.

Channel Island Harbor

A premier beach and seaside recreational area, the Channel Island Harbor is the perfect place to enjoy the ocean whether skiing or swimming in it, or basking in the sun beside it.

Heritage Square

In 1985, the Oxnard Redevelopment Agency and several investors joined together to restore and relocate several turn of the century Victorian houses and buildings including a pump house, water tower, and church to downtown Oxnard. Today, this charming plaza serves as a community theatre, visitor center, and professional offices.

Ventura County Maritime Museum

If you have interests in the ships or just ocean travel in general, a visit to the Ventura County Maritime Museum is a must. It showcases an internationally renowned collection of maritime art and ship models.

Recreation

When it is time to unwind, the Casa Sirena Hotel & Marina offers a variety of activities for you to enjoy.  Relax pool side at our outdoor swimming pool or in our whirlpool.  A public park is adjacent to the hotel where you can play a game of tennis, barbeque or watch the kids play.

The Channel Island Harbor area also offers a variety of recreational opportunities.  The beach is only a short 3-block walk from the hotel where you can enjoy swimming, boogie boarding, beach volleyball and other activities.  Or consider a Whale Watching expedition.
